Our College of Technology has repeatedly earned Purdue Northwest recognition as “best university to attain a technology degree” in Northwest Indiana.
All of the undergraduate programs in the College of Technology are nationally accredited. This ensures that each program is independently reviewed and meets the quality expectation for that profession.
Accrediting agencies include Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) and ABET.

College of Technology students are supported by the Industrial Advisory Committee, comprised of business, industry, and labor community members who are dedicated to the educational and economical growth of their community.
Industrial advisory committee members work closely with faculty and administration to prepare the community’s future work force. Their dedication, creativity, and advice will become an integral part of the educational process.
The College of Technology, through its two Centers, Center of Excellence for Cyber Security and Infrastructure Protection and Center for Packaging Machinery Institute, offers innovative and robust curricula with opportunities for student research.
Working closely with the Commercialization and Manufacturing Excellence Center and the Consortium for Rapid Smart Grid Impact benefits students by providing the opportunity to work with community members as well as industry seeking technology solutions through sponsored projects.
