The College of Nursing offers currently offers four areas of concentration within the Master of Science program. These include Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist (AGCNS) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Primarily Online with a limited On-Campus Experience CNS & FNP Master’s Degree
Purdue University Northwest, Hammond Campus College of Nursing offers an innovative program in which our Master’s of Science with a major in Nursing degree is offered in a dedicated online platform with one on-campus experience.
Post-Master’s Certificate Options
There are three types of post-master’s certificates available through the Purdue University Northwest, Hammond Campus College of Nursing.
Admission Criteria and Application Procedures for College of Nursing Master’s Programs and Post-Master’s Certificate Program
Annual Application Deadline: September 1 for Spring Start / January 15 for Fall Start
If you are interested in applying for the online MS program, please email GradNurse with your name, state of residency, and state of RN licensure before applying. Online instruction is not currently available in every state. Indiana and Illinois residents/RNs are eligible to apply. If you reside or hold your RN license in another state where you may complete your clinical hours, please confirm your state’s status with us before submitting your application and fee.

Graduate Criminal Background Check
Criminal Background Check: to be completed prior to first practicum – The College of Nursing will provide instructions for completing the background check with the appropriate company.
