In addition to my responsibilities in the Honors College, I’m an associate professor of English. My research focuses on modern and contemporary British fiction and the theory of the novel. My book, Novel Theory and Technology in Modernist Britain, will be published by Cambridge University Press in 2018. I love to travel, and I’m excited to help our Honors College students find interesting study abroad opportunities. I had the opportunity to teach at Bayan College in Muscat, Oman, last year, and I volunteered as a language teacher in Ukraine for a month over the summer. I live in Chicago with my husband, who is also an English professor at PNW, and our three cats. I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico; went to college in New Orleans, Louisiana; attended graduate school in Providence, Rhode Island; and lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for two years before beginning my career at PNW.
