Michael Lynn, Interim Dean
In addition to my work as Interim Dean of the Honors College I am a Professor of History at PNW. I have worked here since 2009 during which time I’ve served as a Department Chair, Assistant Dean, Interim Dean, and Interim Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. I study European history during the period from 1500-1800 with a focus on France, the period of the Enlightenment, and the history of science. I have published on a variety of topics including popular science, ballooning, and palm reading. I grew up in the state of Washington and lived in Wisconsin and Georgia before landing in Indiana. I studied math and history at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and did my graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Amy (Boyd) Libauskas, Academic Advisor
I have been a part of the Honors Program at the Hammond Campus since its inception in 2006 as a student in the inaugural class. I served in multiple student leadership positions including student president. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and returned as a permanent staff member of the Honors College. Here, I received my Master’s Degree in Technology. During the merger of our two campus units, I became the main point of contact for the Westville honors students with all things advising and honors questions. In my free time I enjoy hiking, fishing, and volunteering outdoors. I have lived in the region my entire life and plan to escape to the Keweenaw Peninsula when I retire.
