Scholarships are available to graduate students based on either academic achievement or financial need. All Purdue University Northwest students are automatically considered for Purdue University Northwest scholarships and are awarded based on the requirements of the donor, qualifications of the student, and fund availability.
Graduate Staff Positions
Graduate staff positions offer a tuition remission and a small monthly stipend. In general, no separate institutional scholarship application is required; however, certain scholarships require that students complete an application specific to that scholarship as noted at the following link: Scholarship application
A FAFSA must be submitted to be considered for need-based scholarships.

William and Louise Allen Scholarship
- $1,000 annually
- Intended for undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled at least part-time and are residents of Lake County, Indiana
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5/4.0
