After completing a five-course core that will give you a robust background in communication, you select seven more classes to concentrate on your own interests and needs.

The Advertising concentration offers students hands on experience in multiple aspects of advertising. Our 30-minute program The Calumet Roundtable (airing on ION Television) has an auxiliary class with an advertising department. Students are in charge developing the show’s marketing strategies.
