Assistant Professor of Marketing
Subhash is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at College of Business in Purdue University Northwest (PNW) since 2018. He is a passionate teacher and a firm believer in experiential learning. He teaches courses in the areas of sales management at PNW. Prior to joining a second Ph.D. program at the University of Memphis, he worked in India for three years as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. He has published over 20 papers in a number of leading journals, including Journal of Retailing, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Service Research and Industrial Marketing Management. His article “Effects of frontline employee role overload on customer responses and sales performance,” published in the European Journal of Marketing, has been selected as a highly commended paper in the 2018 Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence. His dissertation received the William O. Bearden runner up award in 2017. He currently serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Business Research and the Journal of Service Theory and Practice. He regularly reviews papers for the Journal of Advertising. Before entering academia, Subhash held a sales position with Asian Paints in India. At PNW, he is committed to assist in developing a world class sales lab. He has written numerous case studies that have been used by instructors in several business schools as a pedagogical tool.
